threestepstotheocean è una band strumentale nata a Milano nel 2006. Da allora il gruppo ha pubblicato cinque album, collaborando nel tempo con diverse label e seguendo un percorso principalmente DIY. La musica dei TSTTO, ispirata e guidata narrativamente da un ampio caleidoscopio di suoni, sentimenti e immaginari, si muove a cavallo di metal, post-rock e psichedelia. Il nuovo album “Death Of Permanence”, in uscita a settembre 2026 per SubSound Records e la label cinese 1724 Records, segna per la band un ulteriore percorso di evoluzione attingendo da nuove sonoritĂ e introducendo collaborazioni con altri artisti (Dalila Kayros, Conny Ochs, Moonlit), declinazione concreta di un’etica DIY fondata sulla relazione e sullo scambio.
threestepstotheocean is an instrumental band formed in Milan in 2006. Since then, the group has released five albums, collaborating with various labels over time and following a primarily DIY path. Inspired and narratively guided by a broad kaleidoscope of sounds, feelings, and imagery, TSTTO’s music moves across metal, post-rock, and psychedelia. Their new album, “Death Of Permanence,” releasing in September 2026 via SubSound Records and the Chinese label 1724 Records, marks a further step in the band’s evolution.
